About Us

Serious Shooting Ltd. was founded by Robert and Kate Cuthbert in 2004, but launched officially at the London premises of their esteemed clients, James Purdey & Sons, in March 2005.

Kate, a graduate of Aberystwyth and Nottingham Universities, is responsible for the company’s administration, IT and accounts, whilst Robert oversees the company’s development, operations and marketing.

Robert’s background is in sporting journalism, having written for The Field, The Shooting Times, The Shooting Gazette, Country Life and Esquire magazine

We feel it’s very important to put a face to a name, so it’s not unusual for us to meet clients and potential clients during the spring and summer to discuss their needs and desires for the forthcoming season.
